| Yateley |
| Yateley is situated in north Hampshire close to the Berkshire and Surrey borders. The Club was founded in 1881 and its 3rd XI still plays on the original ground at Yateley Green. A new ground and clubhouse were opened in 1999 at Sean Devereux Park, Chandlers Lane. The Club currently runs three sides on a Saturday in the Berkshire League and two sides on a Sunday in the Three Counties Sunday Cricket League. Limited overs knockout competitions are entered in midweek. In the Winter the club plays in two indoor cricket competitions. Practice sessions and seniors coaching are held regularly at the outdoor nets on the main ground during the Summer and indoors throughout the Winter. A flourishing Colts section is the best in the area and fields sides at all age groups from 8 to 17. It boasts over 100 junior members and 10 qualified coaches. The youngsters are encouraged to gain county representation with expert coaching sessions during the Summer and Winter. New members are always welcome, including players (young and old), umpires, scorers, groundsmen, tea persons, drinkers and anyone who can lend a hand in any capacity. |
