Match Reports Crown Wood 1st XI win

Ravi writes:

Wind and rain, the prospect of a non-completed match - it must be Crown Wood v. E&B! In the previous fixtures this game has been abandoned due to the weather, and at tea this game was looking to go the same way. But the rain stopped, and Crown Wood 1st XI went on to win a competitive game.

Match Reports MWE 1st XI win see-saw game

Ravi writes:

MWE 1st XI defeated Crown Wood 1st XI in a see-saw game in the first league game of the season. In a game dominated by bowling, the batters on both sides will think they should have done better. But the game was all about defending the good balls and waiting for the bad ball, a job which MWE did better than CW, and so deservedly won the match.
