BCL SELECT VS. BCL PREMIER DIVISION CHAMPIONS - MORTIMER WEST END
Sunday 12 July will see a historic day in the history of the FNG-BCL league, as, for the first time ever, the Premier League champions of the year before will play against a 'Best of the Rest' XI.

This year sees the return of the Annual Award ceremony, which is to be held at The Calcot Hotel - Reading on Friday 31st October to sit down at 8.00pm. Please be aware that places are limited and it is on a first come first serve basis.
It would be preferable to receive 1 cheque from each club made payable to The Berkshire Cricket League at a cost of £27 per ticket.
We would also be grateful if clubs would consider supplying a raffle prize or to give a monetary donation to help support the event, even if your club is not attending.
Many Thanks

'Magnificent Mortimer' - The 2008 FNG-BCL Premier Division Review
Having lost four highly influential clubs in the history of the Berkshire League (Yateley, Sonning and Purley (who’s 3rd’s maintain a place in the system), and Theale and Tilehurst) to the enticements of progression up the ECB ‘food chain’, by way of movement to the Thames Valley League, things looked somewhat ominous for the BCL at the close of the 2007 season.
